Best known as a member of JLS, JB Gill is now a passionate farmer, Hits Radio DJ, author, host and The One Show presenter, living with his wife and two children on a Kent smallholding.

JB shares his love for farming and food education as a lead presenter on CBeebies’ Bafta-nominated Down On The Farm and Channel 5’s RTS award-winning Cooking With The Gills. He has also starred in On The Farm specials, Countryfile, and Springwatch, and was a finalist on Strictly Come Dancing.

In 2023, JB debuted his Ace and the Animal Heroes children’s book series with Puffin, with the second installment launching in 2025. He is a dedicated philanthropist, JB is an ambassador for the Woodland Trust, British Red Cross, and Farms For City Children. He also serves as Vice-President of the RSPCA and supports the Royal Countryside Fund and Mercy Ships.
